A golf lullaby for babies and little ones, for the end of a long day outside. Sing it softly. It gets slower and quieter as it goes, and the picture fades to stars.

What it teaches

Knowing when the day is done. One more hole, then the sun goes home and so do we. It is the end of One More Hole, set to music.
Saying thank you. To the grass, the sea, and the friends we played with.
Where golf came from. The shepherds by the sea, whose sheep count themselves to sleep here, the same ones as in Tap, Tap, Plop!
There is always tomorrow. "Same time tomorrow?" is how every good round ends.

Why it is built this way

It rocks. Six beats to a bar, about 54 rocks a minute, the speed of a slow sway in your arms.
Tunes fall at the end of every line, and every verse ends on the same note. Nothing surprises.
The refrain says goodnight to one thing at a time, so a child can tuck each one in.
Everything slows down at the end. The last lines are a hum, and the picture fades to stars.

Singing it together

Sing quietly and sway on the long notes. Count the sheep on your fingers: one, two, three. Once they know it, turn the screen away and sing it without the pictures.
